As Eyecore Digital expands its core business into SEO-focused website development, we are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. This role is pivotal in crafting websites that deliver optimized user experiences and drive high conversions through superior SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and modify websites, ensuring optimal functionality and seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize websites for exceptional page speed across platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, BigCommerce, and Shopify.
- Monitor and resolve issues from Search Console related to page indexing, core web vitals, and page experience.
- Ensure website design, layout, and coding are finely tuned for search engine visibility and improved conversions.
- Utilize HTML/CSS/JS practices to build websites and user interfaces.
- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, demonstrating expertise in PHP backend development.
- Strategically plan contingencies for website optimization and troubleshoot any arising issues.
- Undertake additional web development duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in custom WordPress theme development and PHP backend development.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or web development.
- Proficiency in web design processes and a solid understanding of general SEO principles.
- Certification in SEO or Google Analytics is a plus.
- Comfortable using ACF, WP Rocket, and WooCommerce.
- Experience with BigCommerce, Shopify, HubSpot, and other platforms is advantageous.
Employment Details:
- 3 months’ probationary period.
- 1.5-year contract upon successful completion of probation.
